Dr. Jenny Seiss
Dr. Seiss graduated near the top of her class with her doctorate of psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and partner with the Aberdeen Group. Dr. Seiss has worked in the field of mental health with children, adolescents, adults and families as a parent educator, teacher, and therapist for the last thirteen years.
Dr. Seiss has experience working with clients struggling with a range of emotional difficulties including depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief issues, trauma & abuse, obsessions/compulsions, panic attacks and behavioral problems. She offers both family and individual counseling for children, adolescents, adults and seniors.
Trained in assessment Dr. Seiss has experience in completing parenting evaluations for the Department of Children and Family Services, as well as developmental assessments, ADHD assessments, learning disorder assessments, and diagnostic evaluations.
Certified and trained in clinical hypnosis, Dr. Seiss can facilitate hypnosis training to individuals interested in practicing these techniques for weight loss, smoking cessation, testing anxiety, and overall relaxation purposes.
As a professional speaker, Dr. Seiss has presented to teachers, parents, therapists, and other professionals on a national level and is a member of professional organizations such as the North American Adlerian Society, the Indiana Psychological Association, and the American Psychological Association.
